Regular Season Round 9: MZT Skopje - Kozuv 101-79

Prva Liga top team -MZT Skopje (9-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Kozuv (5-4) 101-79 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kozuv. MZT Skopje dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Kozuv 's 32 and made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The former international point guard Andrej Magdevski (192-1996) nailed 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and American forward LG Gill (203-1994, college: Maryland) accounted for 19 points and 7 rebounds. Gill is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. MZT Skopje's coach Vasko Atanasov felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward DeVaughn Washington (203-1989, college: Ohio) came up with 30 points and the former international center Teodor Simic (210-2004) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Kozuv in the defeat. MZT Skopje have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 9-0 record. Kozuv at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Rabotnicki.
